CGM update

Thanks to everyone for their kind comments, well wishes, and (most of all) your prayers! We got home from the hospital on Monday, and things have been going well. ("Well" is actually a relative term, meaning life is crazy and chaotic but normal for life with a newborn.) While CG has her unique quirks and issues, I think that in general she is a more "textbook" baby than Katie was...and maybe the fact that I have a little experience helps too.

Caroline's first doctor's check-up was today....she weighs 8 pounds (a 5-ounce gain since Monday) and seems to be doing "perfect" according to the doctor. Sweet words to a mama's ear!

You can pray for us that we would have grace, strength, wisdom, and patience to endure these first few weeks of hormones, sleeplessnes, and figuring Caroline out. Thankfully, the day times are fairly predictable, but each night seems to be a different adventure! We have already seen the Lord answer many of our prayers, even in the "small" things that seem to be too little for the God of the universe to care about. What motivation to continue to cry out to Him in all things!
